What this site is

Before You Fly is an information and comparison service for Australian travellers. We are not a travel agent, an insurer, an insurance broker, a financial adviser, a licensed immigration adviser or a migration agent. We do not sell any of the products we compare — every purchase happens on the provider's own site under their terms.

Information is general only

Entry requirements, fees, prices, coverage and availability change frequently and without notice. Everything on this site is general information, current only as at the review date shown on the page.

You must confirm entry requirements with Smartraveller and the destination's own immigration authority before you book or travel. Airlines can and do refuse boarding to travellers without the correct documentation, and we are not responsible for that outcome.

Information about travel insurance and travel money products is general in nature and does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Read the Product Disclosure Statement and Target Market Determination before making any decision, and consider getting advice from a licensed adviser.

Prices

Prices displayed are indicative, are shown in Australian dollars, and are sourced either from provider APIs or from our own research at the date shown. The price on the provider's site at the time you buy is the price that applies. Currency conversions are approximate.

You're responsible for activity on your account. Don't share your sign-in link. We can suspend accounts that are used to abuse the service or others.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site at scale, resell our content, attempt to breach our security, or use the site for anything unlawful. We publish structured data specifically so that it can be read by legitimate search engines and assistants.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on information on this site, including missed flights, refused boarding, denied insurance claims or fines. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit liability, our liability is limited to resupplying the service.
